Close_up of the spawn of a glass frog family Centrolenidae stuck to a leaf surface. Glass frogs inhabit cloud forests and rainforests in Central and northern South America. They stick their eggs to a leaf above running water, so that the tadpoles fall into the water after they emerge from their eggs. Glass frogs are known for their translucent skin, through which internal organs are visible. Filmed in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest.
