The RK Beach at Visakhapatnam is a popular tourist spot and usually thronged by lots of locals and tourists alike. Because of the high footfall and constant activity on the beach, it is not very popular among the fishermen who like to reserve their activities to more secluded beaches a little distance away. Therefore, this group of fishermen organizing their nets on this beach was quite an oddity. What caught my attention was the single minded devotion to their activity. They did not mind being covered with these heavy nets as they trudged along the beach under the scorching sun. They looked like mechanical cog wheels working in unison to complete the task at hand.
