Coloured X-rays of the right shoulder of a 36 year old patient that has repeatedly dislocated the joint. At left the shoulder is in neutral rotation, at centre in internal rotation, and at right in external rotation. The repeated injuries have caused a Bankart lesion where the humerus (upper arm bone) meets the glenoid fossa of the scapula (shoulder bone).
