Ringworm infection on both of a patients feet and one hand. Ringworm is a disease caused by a fungal infection of the skin. It causes severe itching. The disease is highly contagious, and can be spread by direct contact or by contact with contaminated material. This distribution, known as two foot one hand syndrome, is typical of chronic infections. Treatment is with antifungal drugs.
