Ancient pictographs in Chiribiquete National Natural Park, Colombia. Over 75,000 figures on the walls of 60 rock shelters have been created by indigenous people from 20,000 BCE. These paintings typically depict hunting scenes, battles, dances and ceremonies, as well as various flora and fauna species. They particularly emphasize the worship of the jaguar, a symbol of power and fertility. In 2018, UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) declared Chiribiquete National Natural Park as a World Heritage Site.
