A young boy rides a dolphin. 2nd cent ADFrescoe discovered in a suburban villa in 1939-40 in the area of Lungotevere of Pietra Papa. The design of marine life; river and mythological figures decorated also the barrel vaults: on the sea blue background of the boats are depicted between the fish and the shellfish.The frescoes depict boats attended to by naked characters and decorated as the gala boats which went along the Tiber on festival days. - Museo Nazionale Romano.
