Poland; city of Wroclaw: memorial plaque bronze sculpture "Orpheus" (Polish: Orfeusz); built 2016 by Stanislaw and Michal Wysocky; in front of Henryk Tomaszewski Theatre Museum; The theatre museum is integrated in a fragment of the former Southern wing of King`s Castle in Wroclaw; the former German city of Breslau. In front of it; there is the colossal bronze head of the mythical singer and inventor of music and culture; Orpheus (Polish: Orfeusz). The model for this art work was designed by sculptor and art professor Theodor von Gosen (1873 - 1943); in 1942. But the sculpture in today`s form with golden wings in the hair was realized by Stanislaw Wysocki and Michal Wysocky only in 2016 as one of the attractions of Wroclaw being European Capitol of Culture; in 2016.
