"The Tragedy Of Russia" -- In August of this year, (1946), the U.S.S.R. presented Lithuanian children with their own train, which now runs in the out skirts of the town of Vilna. Here the head conductor, a small boy, waves the train away. "The Soviet Government appears deliberately to prevent intercourse between the Russian people and the rest of the world", said Mr. Attlee, British Prime Minister, when he addressed the Trades Union Conference at Brighton on October 24th last. Referring to "The Russian Tragedy", he added that the Russians were subjected to "fantastic misrepresentations" about other nations. September 3, 1951.
