On the flat the coat of arms of Martinus Nolthenius (1766-1793); a VOC servant. The weapon is divided into four compartments with in 1 a sea god against a blue background; 2. two dolphins [?] Against a golden background; 3. six squares against a silver background; 4. six golden stars on a green background. The cover is in blue and gold with tassels; the helmet sign is a swan. Decorative bands around the weapon and on the inner edge. The head with the same decoration with a flower branch on the wall; except for the weapon. Two cracks and two chips in the rim of the dish.
