Pear-shaped bottle vase with continuous lotus scrolls and ornamental borders; Porcelain bottle-shaped vase with pear-shaped body and trumpet-shaped neck; painted in underglaze blue. On the body two wide bands with lotus vines separated by a decorative band; around the foot a band with curled sections; on the neck a band with a meander motif and above that a band with pointed leaf motifs. Marked on the bottom with a four-character Ming brand in a double circle. Nek has been demolished; restored with four staples; a crack and a chip in the edge.
