Fragments of peat from the wreck of the East Indies sailor 't Vliegend Hart; which died in 1735; Nine dark brown chunks of peat and seven light brown chunks of peat. Presumably they originally formed two whole blocks of peat. These peat blocks were used to stow money bags in a cash box.
