China. Qing perios. 17th/ 18th century.

Rhinoceros horn; dark-brown; getting brighter towards the lip; white age cracks on the inside. Flat form with beaklike extended spout; inside the lip set apart from the sides; on a hollowed foot. On the outside a band with Taotie masks in flat relief. The handle in the shape of one large and two smaller dragons. Height 7;5 cm; 17;7 x 8;3 cm. Condition B.
