H鰎der Castle am Phoenix See; in 1840 the entrepreneur Hermann Dietrich Piepenstock built the first puddling and rolling mill; the later Hermannsh黷te which in 1852 became the H鰎der Bergwerks- und H黷ten-Verein; the first stock company in the iron and steel industry in the Ruhr district. Later headquarters of the steel company Hoesch AG. After extensive renovation; today the headquarters of the Sparkassenakademie NRW.Dortmund; January 20; 2011.
