Bomb Deflectors: New Ward Against Air Attack - A 1200-Ib. bomb crashing through a representation of a 6-storey building. It crashed through to the 4th floor. The advantages of bomb deflectors - round balls of concrete, over the use of flat concrete slabs, were tried out in a demonstration at Hounslow (Middlesex) to-day.
