Great Daylight A.R.P. Exercised In Berlin -- A gas bomb exploding in a Berlin Street yesterday during the A.R.P. Exercises. Air Raid Precautions exercises took place in Berlin yesterday afternoon, when at the sound of the warning sirens everybody made for the nearest shelter. The streets were cleared in eight minutes except for policeman. The All-Clear signal was not given until 1? hours later, during which time 4, 500, 000 people in Berlin were kept in their cellars.
