"Hut" Airport Is Europe's Busiest - The air-traffic clerks (left to right) Miss Susan Lanbury Devan who served in the WAAF and Miss B. Wallis who was a hospital war worker. They handle the movements of over 200 air-liners a week. On the 450 acre aerodrome at Northolt, fifteen miles from London's west-end, is a huddled group of low-rocfed buildings surrounded by huge concrete-mixing machines, stacks of building materials and mounds of clay.
