The home, at Shiplake-on-Thames, (Oxfordshire), is named after a young Grendadier Guards officer who died in the 1945 Rhine crossing. The home will assist the recupration of invalid boys between the ages of 12 and 15. The Princess is watched by gardener Leslie Berett, of Henley (centre). March 14, 1950. (Photo by Planet News).
