Danger Scorpaenidae! Keep clear of these Grisly fins - They're frequently tipped with poison glands and can inflict severe wounds. Their gruesome wearer is a scorpion fish from the Indian ocean - now safely enclosed as an exhibit at the cage birds and aquaria exhibition at Olympia, London. Scorpaenidae is the creature's zoological name, and it belongs to the type genus scorpaena. The name was given it for its resemblance to a scorpion. Despite its dreadful appearance it's good to eat.
