Red fire goby (Nemateleotris magnifica). This fish inhabits reefs in the tropical Indo-Pacific region. It is also known as a dartfish. It spends most of its time hovering above its burrow, darting back to safety when it is threatened. It may reach a length of up to eight centimetres, and is a popular aquarium fish.
