Psalm 44; The Annunciation; Whole folio. End of Psalm 43. Psalm 44 beginning with initial 鈥楨'; the Virgin and child enthroned; with a bird. Border decoration including a grotesque with the upper body of a young man who wields a bristled brush or club above his head. In the lower margin is the Annunciation. The archangel Gabriel raises his hand in greeting to the Virgin; holding a blank scroll; with the dove of the Holy Spirit penetrating her nimbus.
