Alpine choughs (Pyrrhocorax graculus) and snow-covered Alps. Alpine choughs flying over snow-covered peaks in the Uri Alps, near Titlis mountain, Switzerland. These crow-like birds live and breed at high altitudes, around 1300 to 2880 metres in Europe. It feeds on invertebrates in the summer and fruit during the rest of the year. It is also found in the Atlas Mountains and the Himalayas.
