Ghitta CARELL (1899 - 1972) Self-Portrait. Photographer; born in Budapest in the late nineteenth century by young parents Israelites moved to Florence (1924) where he began his profession as a photographer. She moved to Rome was the author of the most beautiful portraits of the personalities of the time. Rare and unusual self-portrait flash; not made on glass plate as usual but with 6x7 reflex camera by hand. The Carell portrays himself in an informal way (without makeup) mirror reflection in the door of a closet. Circa 1940
