CRAFTS Carlo Nicco illustration (1883-1937) for his novel "The story of the small glassmaker" Olimpia De Gaspari: "An old woman; ugly; so ugly that made us afraid ..."; the two boys arrived at the destination meet the one who should take care of them. It is a harrowing tale of misery: hoping to give their children a better future; a fisherman from grace entrusts her two children to a French smuggler without scruples; who promises to use them in its glassware.
