Joshua Carducci (1835 - 1907) "O you through beech and fir erma of fields - the emerald cold footprint for press - In the sunshine of morning light and pure; - Or that foscheggi property in the day - Dying of the villas scattered around - A the church or praying at the cemetery - What is silent; or walnuts de Carnia; goodbye! - Erra between your branches my thought. " Extrapolated verses from the poem "The City Rustico" composed by the poet during a spa stay in Piano d'Arta in 1885. In memory of this tourist stay; Arta Terme (UD) has commissioned the sculptor Max Piccini (Karl Marx Piccini; 1899-1974 ) a monument that offers a fascinating portrait of the poet and a plaque with verses cited.
