A state farm near Tbilisi, Georgia, USSR. Women outnumber the men employed by about 5 to 1 - it is even higher on other farms. This woman worker is employed on the nursery section of the farm - where the main crop was grapes for making wine. The market garden side of it (as yet) is only in its infancy if contrasted with British standards - but the Russians are learning fast and are continually improving their methods.
