Sir Winston Leaves For Home 87 year old British elder statesman Sir Winston Churchill pictured as he was carried on a strecher from the Princess Grace Clinic to a waiting ambulance to be taken to Nice Airport where a Royal Air Force Comet airliners was waiting to fly him to London Airport from where he will be taken to Middlesex Hospital . Sir Winston broke a thigh when falling in his hotel bedroom . 29th June 1962
