St James's, Spanish place, was this afternoon the scene of the wedding of Mr Peter Dawson, elder son of Col and Mrs RG Dawson, of Le Hague Manor, St Peters, Jersey, and Gillian, daughter of the tenant general O.M Lund, CB, DSCO, commander-in-chief, and 3-aircraft command. The bridegroom served with the Scots guard and was at one time ADC to general Sir Alan Cunningham. 14 October 1947
