St John's Church, Clevedon, Somerset, was yesterday the scene of the sequel of a romance that the gun several years ago when Cpl Ernest George Sellick was working as a POW on a farm in Poland. Where he met Wincenta Wytrazek, a Polish girl who several times risked her life to smuggle food to her English friend. Knowing the English, but speaking German as Cpl Sellick does, she made the long journey by air and rail to Somerset alone. They married in the village church yesterday. 27 March 1947
