French army heroine , one of thegets engaged. Miss Jacqueline Cromie, who two years ago was decorated as a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour and the Croix De Guerre with Star, for heroism during the war years, became engaged to Mr Michael Copeland Worster, today (Thursday). Miss Cromie, whose father is a London Architect, was refused by the WAAF, when she volunteered early in the war, because her mother is French.
