The Hon Mrs Christopher Fremantle, the 25-year-old daughter-in-law of Baron Cottesloe, has started her election campaign in St George's, Westminster where she has been adopted as Socialist candidate. The seat is at present held by Mr A Duff Cooper, Financial Secretary to the Treasury and a Conservative. Mrs Fremantle's sister, Miss Bridget Jackson, is Conservative candidate at Clayeross.
