Mr Hare-Belisha opened the new luxury Cumberland Garage at Marble Arch and thus inaugurated a new idea in motorcar garages - apart from its use for parking cars it has dressing rooms bathrooms a lounge-rest a staff mess-room and a lugggage store - parking will be on a one-way system - cars entering one ramp run spirally up one side of the building and leaving by running down another ramp at the other side - photo shows Mr Here-Belisha operating a petrol pump November 19th 1934
