Miss M C Heinemann of Newnham ( who lives at Hampstead ) was one of the three women who shared with three men the highest possible honours in the first part of the English Tripos at Cambridge - Miss Heinemann ( who was at Roedean School in Brighton ) was the only one of the successful candidates of either sex to gain a special mark of distinction - photo shows Miss M C Heinemann playing with her spaniel John at her London home after receiving the news of her success June 17th 1933
