Nursing a sprained ankle at his london flat today, Georgie Fame, of the Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames pop group, is presented with a pair of budgerigars by admiring girl fan, Miss June Game, 15, of Waltham Cross. Georgie is scheduled for a television appearance tomorrow. He sustained he injury when falling down the stairs at his flat on Sunday. His new record Something is being released tomorrow and coupled with the gift of budgies this certainly is something to cheer him up. 14th October 1965.
