Latest equipment and training of the infantry detachments of the British Army were demonstrated by the 1st Battlalion the South Staffordshire Regiment in a series of exercises at Aldershot camp, Hampshire. Photo shows, and the old and new equipment, showing shorter bayonets, new ammunition pouches and water bottles carried in the haversack instead of hanging at the side.
