Recruits are now being enrolled for the Women's Auxiliary Territorial Service, brought into being during the recent crisis and now to be organised on the same basis as the territorial Army. Members will be used for clerical duties at the various Territorial Headquarters while Special Sections will be trained for light transport and work in cook houses and canteens. 5 October 1938
