Norma Parker, 21-year-old gun girl of Broadway, is at large with three girl companions, all under 20, after a daring escape from the State prison farm at Bedford, New York. Led by Parker, the fugitive is apparently scaled a 7 foot barbed wire fence and managed to elude the guards. Parker, whose real name is Nellie Gutowski, was sentenced to an indefinite term of imprisonment after a series of hold-ups in which she robbed Broadway restaurant cashiers at the point of a dummy revolver. 30 June 1937
