The inquest open at Battersea Coroners Court on the 10 victims of the Battersea train smash. The hearing was adjourned until the inquiry is completed, as a cause of the disaster was stated by Mr William Bishop, chief solicitor to the Southern Railway to be "a little bit wrapped in mystery".
