13-year-old son of Sir Montague Eliot appointed Page of Honour to the King. To take part in Coronation ceremony. The list of Household appointments has announced the name of Montague Robert Vere Eliot, 13-year-old son of Sir Montague Eliot, brother of Lord St. Germans, as the King's fourth and newest Page of Honour. Pages of Honour will have an important place in the Coronation. They bear the King's train during the procession from the Westminster Abbey Annex to the Throne. Their first official function this season, however, will be the Court at Buckingham Palace shortly before the Coronation. Eliot's appointment as Page of Honour follows the retirement of Patrick Crichton, who had reached the age limit of 16. Sir Montague Eliot, the new page's father, has been associated with the Court for many years, having been appointed a Gentleman Usher to King George V in 1911.
