Warrant officer William Mack , who has just retired from the Southampton Police Force after 25 years service has earned a reputation in Hampshhireas a water colour artist . He intends to spend much of his leisure at painting . Mr Mack is also a first class shot , banjo player , and was a member of the old Southampton Police Orchestra and Colbert Party .
