Millionaire freed by Kidnappers . Police deny ?2 , 000 ransom . Mr Charles Boettcher , Jun , the multimillionaire friend of Colonel Lindbergh , who was kidnapped from his home on February 13 , has been released and is now safe . It is stated that a ?12 , 000 ransom was paid to the kidnppers but the police deny that any such payment has been made . Mr Boettcher was brought to the outskirts of Denver City , Colorade , USA , and left by the kidnappers . He says that after his abduction his kidnappers blindfolded him and drove him continuously for two days and nights . He was held captive in a house until his release .
