Badminton. Merveilleuse in flimsy dresses play a game of badminton in a garden. Several have their hair in the fashionable short cut known as the martyr or victime. In old times we played without raquets; using our hands to hit the ball or shuttlecock in the version called Palm. Now we are more delicate; we have raquets decorated with gold and silk.
