Cretaceous marine animals, artwork. In the background a mosasaurus is about to eat a swimming ammonite. The very large ammonite catching a fish is a pachydiscus, and had a shell of one metre in diameter. In this scene are four heteromorph ammonites. The golden-coloured ammonite on the left is a scaphite. At the top left are some baculites and at the top right are the spiral-shaped turrilites. On the seafloor is a Didymoceras.
