This image uses a technique called principal component analysis to highlight the many subtle colour differences between Pluto's distinct regions. Image obtained by the Ralph instrument's MVIC (Multispectral Visible Imaging Camera) colour camera on NASA's New Horizons interplanetary space probe, on 14th July 2015.
