Beachy Head cliff & lighthouse. View of the cliff and lighthouse (centre right) on the coast of Sussex, southern England. The chalk cliffs are over 150 metres high at their highest point. The lighthouse was built in 1902 and is 165 metres off the coast and is 43 metres tall. It was electrified in 1960 and demanned (automated) in 1983.
