Human plague bacteria culture. Petri dish containing a Cefsulodin Irgasan Novobiocin (CIN) agar medium, which has been inoculated with Gram-negative Yersinia pestis bacteria. Y. pestis is the pathogen responsible for causing human plague. This was the appearance of the growth after 48MB hours of incubation at 25MB degrees Celsius.
