The experimental rooms. Experimental areas are the rooms where the experiments planned by physicists take place. In these rooms, the beam is guided and focused by dipoles and quadrupoles. There are some elements that permit to measure the physical parameters of the beam. The beam looks like a regular succession of particles cloud containing more than 200 000 ions traveling at a speed of about one third the speed of light.
