On the first day there was chaos and by the sixth day the Earth lies within an ordered solar system. Only 7 planets are shown as Neptune and Pluto had not yet been discovered. Some scholars have drawn parallels between Biblical and scientific accounts of the creation of the universe, for example equating God's first command "Let there be light" with the Big Bang.
