Prostatitis is a bacterial infection that may affect reproductive capacity and can be sexually transmitted. It can make urination pain- ful. Other seminal fluid producing organs may also become infected: as has a seminal vesicle (centre right, looping around the bladder). Despite anti- biotic drug treatment this condition may recur.
