Black-browed albatross (Diomedea melanophrys) nest with a chick. The nest is numbered to aid research into albatross breeding patterns. A single chick is raised every year by these albatrosses, in a cliff top nest where it is fed on regurgitated food. The chick is raised for about four months before it is ready to leave the nest.
