Orchid flower (Dracula bella). The central part of the flower (white) is surrounded by these three sepals (red) that taper to trailing points. The Dracula orchids are rare epiphytic (tree-growing) orchids from tropical South America. D. bella is found in Colombia. There are more than 30,000 species of orchids worldwide, many of which are grown as ornamental flowers.
